Alila resort to open in Bintan next year
LUXURY villa and hotel developer and operator Bukit Uluwatu Villa will fully acquire Bukit Lagoi Villa for 100 billion rupiah (US$11 million) for the development of an Alila Villas Bintan, Indonesia.
Bukit Uluwatu Villa managing director Franky Tjahyadikarta said the company planned to develop 50 villas and 12 residence units on the Indonesian island at a cost of 350 billion rupiah.
The development is expected to start this year-end and open in mid-2011.
Bukit Uluwatu Villa, which started trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange yesterday, is also planning to expand Alila Ubud with 12 villas at a cost of 26.74 billion rupiah, and develop a new project in Manado.
The investment for the 60-room Alila Manado in Tanjung Tarabitan, North Minahasa is estimated to be100 billion rupiah and is expected to open in 2013.
