Bach Ma National Park

About 40 km away from the center of Hue City, Bach Ma National Park has cool climate and has been known as Tam Dao or Da lat of the Central Region. The national Park is not only the place where preserves animals and plants with high biodiversity but also brings about many interesting and attractive things during the formation and development period. From first discovered in 1932 by the Engineer M. Girard, Bach Ma had the first trail connecting Cau Hai in 1934. After 10 years, in 1942, a resort was built with 139 villas and 2 hotels of Morin and Bany and a separated car road with the length of 19km connecting from National Highway to Morin Hotel at the altitude of 1,300m compared to the seawater level. Today, there are still vestiges remained and beautiful waterfalls named Hoang Yen, Bac Fall, Do Quyen Fall etc. This place still remains national historical relics with the signs of a tunnel at the top of Hai Vong Dai. Have a bath at Truoi Lake, Visit Thien Vien Truc Lam

Surrounded fully by Bach Ma Range, Truoi Lake is a quite special landscape in Hue. About 40km away from the city, Truoi lake is a dam but attracts many tourists through boats, especially in summer days because of the endless green color of forests and mountains in the lake. Let’s stop on the stream side and you will feel the cool climate of the stream, the murmur sound of water and if you wish to “leave out” all daily worries, let’s drown yourself in the cool stream and it is very interesting to catch fish in the stream.

Wipe out street dust, you will have the chance to visit Thien Vien Truc Lam Bach Ma located under Linh Son Mountain.
