Tokyo, Bangkok rank highly in April on-time performance

Tokyo International Airport (Haneda) was the world’s best performing airport in terms of on-time departures in April. According to the latest fi gures from FlightStats, which recorded performance data from the world’s 50 busiest hubs, 94.12% of flights from Haneda departed on time. The list was dominated by US airports, with seven of the top 10 airports located in the country. However Bangkok’s Suvarnanbhumi airport (4th place, 87.56% on time) and Sydney (6th, 85.10%) also performed well. Two Chinese airports recorded the worst on-time performance – Guangzhou (37.06%) and Beijing (35.57%).
